Not only is the XP10 resilient, but with a core specification of 12 Megapixel resolution, a high-precision 5x Fujinon Optical Zoom lens and HD recording, you can capture breathtaking images with total peace of mind. The FinePix XP10’s tough credentials are neatly hidden in its small, lightweight and stylish metal body which is so slim you can put it in your pocket and carry with you everywhere. And with an exciting NEW easy web upload function, sharing photos of your adventures with your friends is simple and quick.

The FinePix XP10 is the ultimate lifestyle camera. Drop it, soak it, freeze it, and even cover it in dirt: this camera will come out unscathed. Not only is the XP10 waterproof to 3 metres (10ft.), but it is also shockproof to 1 metre (3 ft.), freezeproof to -10oC and dustproof, giving you total confidence to take it wherever you go, whatever you are doing.

With a sleek durable metal body, the XP10 is a camera that looks and feels highly sophisticated, but still offers all the practicalities of an ‘outdoor’ camera, making it suitable for taking to the beach or trails or slipping into your pocket or handbag for a night out.
High Definition
Fujfilm has introduced HD across its entire lineup and with 720p HD image and movie capture memories can be re-lived in glorious high definition on any HD ready television*.
*To connect to an HD-ready TV, you will need a HD Card Reader and HDMI cable (optional extras).
Fujinon 5X Optical Zoom
Amazingly disguised in its slender body is a high quality Fujinon 5x internal vertical zoom lens. The Fujinon optics operate without protruding from the camera’s body, further protecting it from any knocks or damage. Match this with Digital Image Stabilization to reduce image-blur, high sensitivity settings (to ISO 1600) and a high resolution 12 Megapixel CCD sensor, and this camera delivers sharp and clear images at the touch of a button.
Easy Web Upload
The XP10 features a NEW Facebook/YouTube Easy Web Upload function that makes it much faster to post photos on social networking sites. This feature saves time searching through the photos on your computer to decide which ones to upload. Instead, in playback mode on the camera, choose the Menu option and ‘mark’ a picture for Facebook or You Tube upload. Once you connect the XP10 to a computer and access the MyFinePix Studio software (included in the box), press “upload” and the marked pictures and videos will transfer to the selected sites.
Movie Editing And Web mode
Get creative and add your own finishing touches to your videos and images using many choices such as B&W, Sepia, or even add a dynamic lighting effect. Web Mode also lets you add special effects to your photos: choose from Sepia, Contrast, Brightness, Diagonal Crop or Face Mosaic to achieve different and individual looks.
Advanced Technology
To ensure picture perfect results every time, the XP10 employs Intelligent Scene Recognition (SR AUTO) to intelligently identify the scene type and the shooting conditions present, and optimizes the camera’s settings. The XP10 also feature Smile Detection that works with Fujifilm’s highly-acclaimed Face Detection technology with Auto Red Eye Removal to detect smiles on faces AND to automatically remove any red eyes if needed. Combined with Blink Detection that warns you if you have captured an image with people blinking, you will be taking perfect portraits in no time.
Tracking Auto Focus
Previously featured on the FinePix S-series models, Tracking Auto Focus is a useful feature that tracks a moving subject automatically while the shutter is half-pressed. When you are ready to take the photo simply press the shutter button fully and your subject is in the centre of the frame in perfect focus. This is particularly useful when trying to capture an action shot where your subject is moving constantly.

The FinePix XP10 is expected to be available to Canadian consumers in April 2010 at a suggested retail price of CAD $199.99.
