So it seems that our species owe its survival success not to Darwin’s “Survival of the fittest” motto that he observed in Nature, but rather to a desire to nurture and protect our offsprings and one other.

Social scientists surmise that “the more generous we are, the more respect and influence we wield.”

Sounds like what lots of people have found out on Twitter and other social media venues. Why, the Internet itself has survived and grown to such an influence because many of you have shared your knowledge freely, helping others to grow and survive (even make a living) on the Internet. Thank you to all the early pioneers and to those who continue to do so (you know who you are). Shame on those who just want to exploit others.
