Samsung To Drop Paper Planes From Space in Project Space Planes

From projectspaceplanes

Samsung wants to demonstrate how tough their SD memory cards are and, to prove just that, they are planning to let 100 paper planes fly into the outer atmosphere, 30,000 metres above the earth, with each plane carrying a Samsung SD memory card.

What’s on the SD cards? A message that you can upload via their website… words, pictures, video, music… anything that fits onto a memory card. If you find one of these planes, Samsung will hook you up with the sender!

100 paper planes — that’s not a lot. Wonder how many will actually fall back to earth intact and be found.
