EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Samsung WB350F Review is based on a production model. All sample images are unretouched, except where specified.

Pocketable ultra zoom. The Samsung WB350F is targeted to point-and-shoot photographers who want an easy-to-use compact ultra zoom that is pocketable. It is beautifully designed and is available in black, white, brown, blue and red (country dependent).

The Samsung WB350F features 16.3 MP resolution, a 21x wide optical zoom with optical image stabilization. The 23mm wide-angle is great for large group or landscape shots and the 483mm tele brings far away subjects close.

Wi-Fi capabilities feature easy set-up and include Auto Backup to a PC, using your smartphone as a Remote Viewfinder, and sharing photos with friends, family (and unintended strangers) all over the world on your social networks (Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, Dropbox). For new parents, you can even use it as a baby monitor.

The availability of PASM shooting modes make the WB350F a very attractive proposition to learning beginner photographers who plan to delve into manual modes as they get more knowledgeable about photography concepts.

The Samsung WB350F is compact, has a powerful wide angle zoom, easy-to-use wireless features and takes good pictures at the low ISOs. It’s ideal as a travel point-and-shoot as long as you take most of your pictures in good lighting.
