If street photography is your thing — or you’ve always wanted to get into street photography — now is your chance to join street photographers worldwide to make yourself heard, er, seen!
The Street Photography Now project starts tomorrow, October 1, and runs until a full 52 weeks until street photographers all around the world have documented their streets. Every week, a leading street photographer will issue instructions for what to photograph. You’ll have 6 days to take your picture and upload it to Flickr.
The first instruction has been issued by Bruce Gilden: “If you can smell the street by looking at the photo, it’s a street photograph.”
Submissions will close at 12.00 Midnight GMT on 07.10.10 for this first submission.
So, what are you waiting for? Dust off your camera, charge up its batteries, wipe the lens clean, and go!
