The Most Famous Athlete You’ve Never Heard Of

The Road to the Nor’easter with Sonnie Trotter & Russ Clune from NE2C on Vimeo.

Meet Torontonian Sonnie Trotter, professional rock climber and full-time adventure climber. Trotter practices “trad,” or traditional, climbing which is seen as the pure form of climbing. Trotter often takes it one step further and climbs without a rope. His climbs have taken him to many countries, including India, Australia, Mexico, Malta, Spain, France, Austria, Ireland, Scotland and England.

The Road to the Nor’easter continues with Black Diamond athlete “Sunshine” Sonnie Trotter of Squamish British Columbia visiting the classic cliffs of the Shawangunks in the Mohonk Preserve in New Paltz, NY.
The Nor’easter powered by Eastern Mountain Sports is a three festival of Sports, Music and Conservation on Sept 24-26th 2010 at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. Festival info, main stage line up and tickets are on sale now www.noreaster.ems.com.
