The People vs. George Lucas

When George Lucas released Star Wars, he had to compromise on scenes and length of the movie. Now, he is tweaking the movie(s) to what his [original?] vision was — and fans are crying foul. As much as they love him, they don’t want him to change what they have come to love — and hate — about Star Wars. Change it too much — and it’s a different movie altogether, perhaps losing its original charm altogether.

Also, aliens in Indiana Jones? That’s what you get when you collaborate with Steven Spielberg. I hope we never see a 3D Star Wars. Restore the original Darth Vader apparition. Stop adding CGI. Make another movie!

George, stop. Don’t be tempted by the dark side of the Force. Don’t make us call on Obi-Wan Kenobi to help us.
