The Shy Photographer

When you think about it, why are people shy? Yet, many of us are. But there’s help on the way. Stacy Pearsall got her start as an Air Force photographer over 10 years ago at the tender age of 17, with tours to over 41 countries. She is one of only two women to win the NPPA Military Photographer of the Year competition, and the only woman to have won it twice. In her own words, “I’m a bit shy. If you’ve ever met me, you’d probably think I’m pulling your leg.

In a guest article at Photofocus, she shares her tricks of the trade on how she overcomes her shyness and learn to get her subject to loosen up. It’s a wonderful article about Breaking the Ice: Photographer-Subject Relationships.! Thanks for sharing, Stacy!
