Cuteness Alert! In March of 2010, nature photographer Thomas D. Mangelsen traveled to Hudson Bay in northern Manitoba, Canada, to photograph polar bears and their young emerging from their winter dens. Here’s what he caught: two months-old cubs, enjoying their new-found freedom, play and wrestle in the snow while mama bear keeps a close eye on them from the den (just behind and below where the bear cubs are playing).
