The City of Toronto Archives is inviting everyone to “a free exhibit that brings together photos documenting 100 years of life in Toronto, from the level of the street. Toronto landmarks like the St. Lawrence Market, Yonge Street and Kensington Market look at once recognizable, and yet totally different.”
Photos displayed are sourced from some of their most popular 20th century collections as well as new, rarely-seen collections.
With images ranging from the accidental to the deliberate, this exhibit highlights the wide variety of street photography in the holdings of the City of Toronto Archives.
