How to follow someone using Twitter Geotagging

Geotagging on Twitter allows users who opt-in to the service to selectively Geotag their tweets with their exact location. In other words, it allows your fans [stalkers, papparazi, …] to find your exact location when you last tweeted.

To find a Tweeter’s location, all you have to do is highlight the geo location on the Tweeter’s page (e.g. sent from their iPhone) and google it. Presto! Google map shows you their exact location!

I just don’t get the fascination with geotagging. Why would you want anyone to be able to stalk track your every movement?

Here’s how to disable it:

“Settings” – uncheck “Enable Geotagging” – click “Delete all location data” button
