Winter Solstice Lunar Eclipse 2010

If you were fortunate enough to catch yesterday night’s lunar eclipse, you’re probably still in awe over the experience. It was an incredibly clear night and I just had to step out and look up to see it. But for those of you who had better things to do (such as sleeping), don’t worry, here’s a video from William Castleman of what you missed:

  • I think the composition is above average and that many of the shots would work well as stills. I don’t understand the compression artifact riddled shouts of snow falling though. As far as short films go, this is good; however, it does not stand out as exceptional relative to it’s peers. Oscar is a bit much.

That stated, it’s good work and I would be proud of it.
